Other Services Alianza Counseling offers:
Alianza Counseling staff is also certified in play therapy and we work with Victims of Crime and trauma. These are individuals that are victims of a crime that have internalized their trauma and need to express their feelings regarding the crime. Most victims are not able to vocalize their feelings in the initial stages after the crime due to shock. We offer a safe and comfortable place where clients can express their feelings.
Alianza Counseling also works with Child Protective Services (CPS). We work with children and families who have been separated and are trying to reunify. We work with social workers maintaining communication and also by providing progress notes required for court appearances. Our goal is to help the client reunite with their families. If reunification is not possible, we also help the client in coming up with other alternatives and begin dialogue about feelings that may arise.
Counseling can be highly effective for:
- Individuals
- Couples
- Families
- Groups
Brief and Long Term counseling available.
Do you work with victims of crime only? Or with CPS cases? I am looking for counseling for myself and my 3 children (12, 14, and 16) concerning the separation of myself and their dad.
Hello Alejandra,
Our counselors work with a variety of cases including victims of crime and CPS. The CPS cases we work with usually have a social worker involved who will refer the case over to us. In your case, you did not mention if there is a social worker or if the children are in CPS custody. Regardless, we are able to work with your family in a family counseling setting, if your children are with you and you are looking for counseling regarding the separation of you and their father. I hope this helps. Have a nice day.
